250 Years of “Semper Fi”

On November 10th, 1775, before our nation was even officially born, a group of brave men gathered at Tun Tavern in Philadelphia to form a new fighting force: the United States Marine Corps.

For 250 years since that day, Marines have stood ready wherever our country has needed them; from the beaches of Iwo Jima to the deserts of Iraq, from humanitarian missions across the globe to defending freedom at home. They’ve served with courage, discipline, and a brotherhood that few outside the Corps can fully understand.

Those who’ve earned the title “Marine” don’t just wear it for a time … they carry it for life. It shapes how they lead, how they work, and how they serve others long after their military service ends.

That’s why this anniversary means something deeply personal to us.

At Semper Fi Home Inspections, our name isn’t a slogan — it’s a reflection of our roots. Our owner Danny and many in our family and team proudly served as United States Marines. The lessons learned in uniform — integrity, precision, accountability, and commitment to every mission — are the same principles that guide our company today.

Every inspection we perform is done with that same attention to detail and sense of honor. Because when you’re taught that “good enough” isn’t good enough — that every mission, every task, every client deserves your best — it changes how you show up in everything you do.

As the Marine Corps celebrates its 250th birthday, we pause with gratitude and pride. We honor every Marine — past, present, and future — who has answered the call. We remember those who never made it home. And we celebrate the spirit of service and loyalty that continues to define the Corps after two and a half centuries.

To our fellow Marines and to all who support them — thank you. You embody what it means to be Always Faithful.

Semper Fidelis, and Happy 250th Birthday, Marines.
